There is no point
in holding on to
what you have already let go.
Once,
instead of allowing time to erase
as you did
I remembered.
My ignorance, my mistake
in believing that you are special
different than others.
What I paid
for that belief
was no trivial price.
What I gained
was no small lesson.
Now, I learn from my mistake
and is no longer blind
I see, I understand
some things are meant to end this way.
And,
some rules
bear no exception.
